Steadman's is a modern (Q Guild) butchers shop with traditional values stocking a wide range of home produced and local produce including: local Dales beef, lamb and pork, own cure award winning dry cured bacon and hams, home made sausage, burgers and pies. Steadman's' famous award winning Cumberland sausage is available throughout the North West via JMP Foodservice.

Established in Sedbergh in 1963 by Garth Steadman, the shop is renowned for attentive, friendly and helpful staff who give good advice and ideas coupled with finest quality products giving a reputation second to none.

Free Range Pork sourced from local farms is a specialty. It is bred and reared to produce healthy and happy pigs which are outstanding in flavour and tenderness.. A locally sourced product which is second to none and provides an extensive range of high quality pork products including, a range of over 100 unique sausages and home cured hams and bacons. Steadman's also operate an online store where you can order products from their wide range of meat products for delivery by express courier to anywhere in the UK.

Steadman's pride themselves on an innovative and creative approach to developing high quality products and dishes to tempt the taste buds of friends and customers. They have worked very closely with farmers and were among the six original Butchers to introduce Cumbrian Fellbred Meat. Meat sourced from the very best Cumbrian farms.

Steadman's were selected as "North of Englands Butchers shop of the year 2006" in recognition of the very highest standards of every aspect of the Butchery trade that they maintain.
